Auditchain @ Consensus Invest
Meyers will be speaking at 11:05AM EST at the Majestic Complex on the 6th floor of the Marriott Marquis. Also presenting with Meyers will be Eric E. Cohen, a new addition to the Auditchain team. Mr. Cohen is a co-founder of XBRL, which is at the heart of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s structured disclosure framework. The topic of discussion will be centered on real time audited token and network compliance as well as the continuous audit and real-time presentation of financial statements for enterprise through the use of Auditchain, the world’s first decentralized continuous audit and reporting protocol ecosystem for enterprise and network token statistics.
Auditchain is a founding member of the DCARPETM Alliance which is comprised of members of the investment, accounting, audit, legal and financial reporting community. The DCARPETM Alliance was formed to collaborate with its members on matters such as regulation, implementation, adoption, scaling and integration. The DCARPETM Alliance will hold events and symposiums as well as educate the investment, enterprise and regulatory community about the benefits of continuous audit and real-time reporting using blockchain.
Meyers, explains, “We are very thankful to the folks at CoinDesk for the opportunity to speak at Consensus: Invest for many reasons. First, accounting and audit is not sufficiently covered in the blockchain space despite the fact that accounting and audit is the best use case for blockchain. Second; transparency is a serious problem when it comes to token sales. We believe that Auditchain addresses the issue of transparency and ongoing disclosure for token sales and real-time network statistics. Finally, as the investment and enterprise world continue to gallop toward full adoption of blockchain and tokenization, Auditchain represents the foundation of the continuous audit and real-time disclosure required to support digital asset origination as well as the speed and velocity of twenty first century business. We are grateful for the chance to share this vision with top leaders in the digital asset industry.”
Meyers adds, “Our team brings deep domain expertise and over a century of diverse experience in the application of blockchain to accounting, audit and reporting.”
Cohen notes, “Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies offer incredible possibilities for the seamless audit trail supporting real-time monitoring, reporting and auditing, leveraging syntactic standards like XBRL GL – public, transparent, cryptographically supported, enabling all participants in the audit information supply chain – the focus of my collaborations for many years.”
Auditchain is the world’s first decentralized continuous audit and real-time reporting protocol ecosystem for enterprise and token statistics. Auditchain is developing an ecosystem that includes blockchain protocol and an open source library of accounting smart contracts sufficient to capture, process, audit and report enterprise data and performance data on a real-time continuous basis – all under a continuous independent audit exceeding current accounting and audit standards.
